What is surprise?
The very likely thing, condition, situation or whatever excites you to so far because you simply don't know what is going to happen next.
Let us take an example,
- You are an organiser of the event ( for example - seminar). Mostly, you and your manager know what will be the actual event, exhibition and seminar.
- On the other side, imagine you are the participant of the same event. You seemed to be excited, isn't it? You just don't know what is going to happen, right?
Those examples will may let you feel what the actual surprise is.
I'm not discussing about any particular thing or particular condition but a general situation which covers everything such that.
Why do you enjoy laughing?
In the discussion or a conversation, whenever someone crakes a funny joke or something will happen which is not in your memory or experiences then you'll laugh with joy.

You laugh as you were not expecting it which is simply a surprise of that phase.
Right?
Laughter generates the happiness.
So, you can understand that happiness relies on surprises as well.

They are so excited to play with their toys.
Not even toys, but also with everything which is around.
They are enjoying their lives surprisingly and there is no doubt about this because in their perspective, everything's new and fresh.
The reason why you love kids, their innocent smile, their weeping and many more.

There is an excitement over unknown situations.
Watch kids, they are always curious about every moment.
There is fun to accept and treat things which cannot be changed.
Simply, don't try to change, it'll mess up everything.
It has reminded me a beautiful quote by Sadhguru,
"How boring life would be if everything happens according our plans and goals?"
There is actually a deep meaning over that statement.
In this era, most of us are getting depressed about the things which has happened not according our wills and plannings.
We really messed up things around us just because of one failure, one disappointment.
The life is too short to be miserable and life is too big to explore and enjoy with.
It's all in our choice to take lightly or heavily.
Understanding the real essence of surprises and gifts given by universe leads to wise and beautiful life.
There will be the power of acceptance, power of living in moment, power of focus and power of everything because it'll always let your mind open.
Knowing that things may happen according to us and may not as well is the actual essence of wisdom.
Live each moment as a surprise, because there is no doubt about it.
